The
thirty-eighth state accepted into the United States in 1876
was the State of Colorado. The mile-high city of
Denver is the capital and the Rocky Mountains are the
feature attraction. The Colorado t-shirts have an
outline of the square state. Resort towns like Aspen
and Vail attract many tourists from around the globe for
skiing and other activities. The other Colorado
t-shirts are done in a burnt red in a diagonal pattern.
At 14,400 feet, Mount Elbert is the tallest point in the
state. Surprisingly, the lowest point in the entire
state of Colorado is still over 3,300 feet. That point
is the Arikaree River, located in the eastern side of the
state. |
