With
186 square miles and a dense population, Colorado Springs
ranks in the top fifty largest cities in America. Six
thousand feet above sea level make this town a solid 800
feet higher than the mile-high city of Denver. The
Colorado Springs t-shirts have a series of blue stars along
the front. The famed Pikes Peak is just ten miles away
and has an elevation of 14,115 feet. The other
Colorado Springs t-shirts are more subtle, with the
lettering in smaller print above the chest.
Evangelical Christians are in full force here, as area many
military bases. The U.S. Air Force Academy is in
Colorado Springs. The Academy has about 4,300
undergraduate students. |
