former slogan of this city was 'The Pride of the Prairie',
but it has since been changed to 'Decatur, We Like it Here'.
It is simple, but effective for this Illinois city.
The Decatur t-shirts focus on the actual location, as the
word 'Illinois' is in a small font at the bottom of the
oval. Stephen Ambrose, Jeff Innis, and Alison Krauss
have all lived here. The 'Someone Loves Me' design on
