Not to
be confused with the two towns in Michigan, this Farmington
is in hot and humid New Mexico. The Four Corners is a
famous spot where four states (New Mexico, Colorado,
Arizona, Utah) intersect and this town is but a few miles
from there. The Farmington t-shirts can be used for
the Michigan town as New Mexico is not seen anywhere on the
shirts. The area was the site of an underground
nuclear test by the United States back in 1967. The
test was actually fifty miles from Farmington, but that is a
short distance when talking about nuclear explosions.
The Farmington t-shirts are in block lettering on one, while
the other is more stylish. Much of the nuclear testing
was conducted in this region, but the town continued to
grow. |
