A suburb of Birmingham, Hoover, Alabama is near the beginnings of
the Appalachian Mountains and has 60,000 inhabitants. The
Hoover t-shirts shows the name in bold.
Located
in both Jefferson and Shelby Counties in the middle of
Alabama is the city of Hoover. The city makes up part
of the Birmingham metropolitan area and is home to the
Barons, a minor league baseball team. Big letters are
shown in these Hoover t-shirts. There is also a famous
vacuum with the same name and since the 'AL' is not present,
they can represent that as well. The second Hoover
t-shirts are more city-dependent, with the connotation of
supporting the hometown. The Barons are the Chicago
White Sox farm team. They were put on the map when
Michael Jordan decided to try his hand at baseball.
Jordan batted only .202, but the stadium in Hoover drew
nearly one million fans that year, selling out about every
game.
