Pictured are
two Kenai t-shirts from our cities not part of the contiguous United
States grouping.
The suburb of Anchorage known as Kenai holds 7,500 residents, most
of which commute into Anchorage. The Kenai t-shirts show a
distressed look.
In the
southern part of Alaska near the shores of the North Pacific
is the town of Kenai. The Alaskan community is a
suburb of the bigger Anchorage and sits on the Cook Inlet
which leads to the Ocean. The Kenai t-shirts feature a
ringer style on one, with black rings on the neck and
sleeves. The ringer version is shown here, but other
types exist too. The women's Kenai t-shirts abover
right tell you about the great girls of the town.
There are slightly more females than males in this community
of Kenai. The road to Anchorage was not established
until 1951 and was not paved until 1956. Oil discovery
off Cook Inlet also helped growth.
