A city
and an island all in one is the designation for Kodiak
Island off the southern coast of Alaska. Only 6,300
people live in the city itself, with about twice that on the
entire island. The Kodiak t-shirts are desired by
folks that visit this fascinating archipelago. The
island is the second biggest (Hawaii is first) in the entire
United States at 3,465 square miles. The size is
equivalent to some of the smaller states in America.
The Kodiak t-shirts might not keep you warm in this Alaskan
town, so sweatshirts exist as well. A strong
percentage (29) of Native Americans reside in Kodiak, while
the remaining demographics are a combination of White and
Asian. As Alaska goes, not a lot of snow falls here.
The winters are fairly mild. |
