Lexington-Fayette t-shirts from our dual names of cities grouping.
The merging of the city of Lexington with the County of Fayette in
Kentucky created the first combination of the two. The
Lexington-Fayette t-shirts reflect the name.
The
horse capital of the world and Athens of the west is the
Fayette county city of Lexington. In 1974, the city
merged with the county to create consolidated city-county
and spawn the new name. These Lexington-Fayette
t-shirts show the long title, but it still fits. Horse
racing is the passion here as well as the University of
Kentucky Wildcats. Wear one of these Lexington-Fayette
t-shirts to the basketball games and they'll know you're a
local. The UK Wildcats college basketball team is
always near the top of the polls and it doesn't hurt when
their most famous alum, the gorgeous Ashley Judd is there
rooting them on. She has been a fixture in Lexington,
attending many of the games each year.
