In the
northern part of the state in the suburbs of New York is the
city of Paterson. The New Jersey city lies in Passaic
County and is known primarily for its silk production.
Much like Vegas, these Paterson t-shirts declare that what
happens here stays here. Newark and Trenton are the
big cities in New Jersey, but Paterson is close behind in
third place. Since so many folks work in the Big
Apple, it is important to maintain the town's identity and
these Paterson t-shirts go a long way in doing that.
The great baseball player Larry Doby is from Paterson, New
Jersey as is Lou Costello (Abbott and Costello fame),
principal Joe Clark, and the late John Spencer. The
town is also mentioned in pop culture, from The Simpsons
