grouping.
The former steel mill town of Pueblo, Colorado has transformed
itself into an electronics juggernaut. The Pueblo t-shirts
include a picture of the region.
The
municipality that is still governed by home rule is the
steel producing city of Pueblo. The Colorado town is
located at the intersection of the Fountain Creek and
Arkansas River and tends to get warmer weather than the
surrounding cities. The Pueblo t-shirts show off the
historical town that was developed following the Colorado
Gold Rush of 1859. Aviation and electronics now rule
the industry in place of the steel manufacturing of prior
decades. Some of the history can be seen in these
Pueblo t-shirts with pictures. The steel industry
declined in 1982 after the main company in Pueblo, Colorado
(Colorado Fuel and Iron) was bought out. Most of the
workforce was replaced in later years.
