The
belle city of the lakes is the nickname for the southeastern
city of Racine on the shore of Lake Michigan. Once the
home of an All American Girls Professional Baseball team,
this city of 81,000 is most known for bakeries and pastries.
Even though the ball club is gone, you can still sport these
Racine t-shirts around town. The O&H Danish Bakery is
world famous and has been a story on the Food Network
recently. A minor league football team now plays in
Racine, Wisconsin on the same field the Racine Belles female
baseball team played. These Racine t-shirts don't have
the Raiders listed, but you can still support the squad with
them. Horlick Field is the site where these guys suit
up and it was just upgraded with new bleachers. |
