A good
ninety miles west of the city of Chicago is the Winnebago
County city of Rockford. The Illinois city is just a
few miles from the Wisconsin border and is about as close to
Milwaukee as it is to the windy city. These Rockford
t-shirts may bring back memories of the girls baseball team
that played here in the 1940's and 1950's. The Peaches
were one team in a women's professional baseball league that
was featured in the 1992 film A League of Their Own.
Getting one of these Rockford t-shirts will help remember
the league and the extraordinary women who played in it.
