By far
the most populous city in the State of Utah is that of Salt
Lake City. Established by Mormon settlers in 1847, the
community has now grown to be a diverse region with
Hispanics, African-Americans, and other races represented.
The Salt Lake City t-shirts show the word 'Utah' in tiny
print on the oval. The diversity has taken a long time
in this city, but it is beginning to resemble a modern
American city. Less than half of the people are part
of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, but many
members of LDS have moved to the suburbs. Even if
you're in a surrounding community, these Salt Lake City
t-shirts still represent the greater area. Outside of
religion and demographics, Salt Lake City, Utah has a
bustling service oriented economy, an NBA basketball team,
big banking firms, and a solid outdoor activities industry. |
