Here

place to retire or to buy a summer home. These Sanford
t-shirts could go a long way in encouraging visitors to come
here by giving it recognition. Recently, a huge $650
million casino was proposed in Sanford to attract outsiders,
but it was soundly defeated by the voters in Maine.
Quality of life is the biggest attraction to the state and
this town and a major gaming spot would tarnish that image.
