Adams
and Weld counties are the site of the northern Colorado city
of Thornton. With 105,000 inhabitants, it ranks as
sixth largest in the state and in the top 250 in the
country. These Thornton t-shirts symbolize patriotism
and how times once were. The retro style in the
Thornton t-shirts are a throwback to the mid twentieth
century. It wasn't until 1953 until this area in
Colorado was settled. Only seven miles north of Denver
off Interstate 25, Thornton consisted of farmland before
that time. Within two years there were over 5,000
residents. Fifty years later, it is one of the largest
suburbs of Denver and will soon have full access to the
regional commuter rail system when their FasTraks trains are
