northeast quadrant of the state, near Missouri. The Topeka

In
Shawnee County in the State of Kansas is the capital city of
Topeka. Settled in 1854, it was one of the free-state
communities that existed at the time in the state.
Many did not want slavery to extend into Kansas. The
Topeka t-shirts look give something for the hometown gals
with a hot pink design. You may prefer the Go Topeka
t-shirts instead. These rally support for the city and
the sports that take place. Many notable points of
interest exist in Topeka, Kansas including the National
Historic Site of Brown versus the Board of Eduction.
In that historic case in 1954, the Supreme Court decided
that it was unlawful to seperate schools based on race and
that everyone deserved equal protection. It was
shocking in that it took so long to enact the law.
