town of Waukegan is on the shore of Lake Michigan and is home to

Lake
County is the site of the Chicago suburb of Waukegan.
Even though it is a solid forty miles to the west of
Chicago, the Illinois city is still considered part of the
metropolitan area and is also about the same distance to
Milwaukee. The Waukegan t-shirts have a baseball style
to one of them as the sport is immensely popular here.
There are the White Sox and Cubs in Chicago plus the Brewers
in Milwaukee, so locals have plenty of choices to establish
a rooting interest. The other Waukegan t-shirts
harkens back to a more traditional time period in the
mid-twentieth century. One interesting fact about
Waukegan, Illinois is that the movie Groundhog Day
was filmed here on the Amstutz Expressway.
