Babar T-Shirts

An oldie but goodie cartoon is the famous Babar. Babar is about an elephant who leaves his normal habitat to come into the big city. He brings his knowledge back to his fellow elephants. It is a story that was created in France in the early 1930's. Babar becomes King, marries Celeste, and creates Celesteville, where they live. These Babar t-shirts show the elephants together and trying to fit into a small car. There has been some criticism of the animated program, which is similar to the criticism of Curious George. The show talks about colonization and how to live like a civilized society, which can be a very sensitive topic.
