The
sexy, fictional cartoon character Wonder Woman was first
introduced in a comic strip in 1941. She was the first
female superhero and wore a skimpy little outfit that
resembled a red, white and blue bathing suit. Wonder
Woman also wore tall, red boots, carried a powerful lasso
and wore special gauntlets. These gauntlets were worn
on her wrist and deflected bullets and other dangerous
things. This Wonder Woman t-shirt reflects the cartoon
version, but Wonder Woman was also made into a television
series. Lynda Carter played the role of Wonder Woman
from 1975 - 1979. Fifty-nine episodes were broadcast
with Lynda Carter in that role. Wonder Woman has been
released on DVD for each season. |
